EU-Day-2020

On December 22nd, 2020 we set up Kick-off meeting & EU Day 2020, celebrated cultural diversity in the European Union and emphasized its vital part in fostering dialogue and respect among students in PTIT. Europe is a mosaic of diversity shaped by centuries of exchanges between different nations, languages and cultures.

The purpose of ProEUHE – Eramus+ Jean Monnet Project – Kick-off meeting is to establish communication methods between all parties and the EU and finalize project timelines. This helps ensure team alignment from the start, leading to more successful projects and fewer deadlines missed.

Kick-off meeting & EU Day 2020 were engaged in the maintenance of the diversity of cultural identities and traditions worldwide. All PTIT students did have an opportunity to experience European traditional costumes and visited several tourist attractions and beautiful iconic landmarks of Europe virtually. Cultural and creative industries are the engine of cultural vitality.

Additionally, there were several interactive VR games at the event. VR can be used to create and explore controlled environments where either the player or the game creator has full control of the outcome. Therefore, the main theme of Kick-off meeting & EU Day 2020 games was about European culture and educational systems in order to give PTIT students an insight of how Europeans conceive of the idea of culture and its importance. Moreover, Kick-off meeting & EU Day 2020′ involvement in cultural and artistic activities were believed to help PTIT students be persistent against all the odds and adhere to the limitations when theycome to European Union for oversea study.

It is thanks to Kick-off meeting & EU Day 2020 with the participance of university representatives, European Embassies in Vietnam, CIE has been able throughout years to help students adapt to a changing world. PTIT stands committed to support and protect the variety of cultures, providing opportunities for cultural exchanges, cooperation and creation for students. The benefit of students is at the heart of progress: it can play a truly key role in the future of the current project.
